I spent seven years without my daddy. It was the hardest seven years of my life. I was kept away from my daddy by the court system, not because he was a bad parent or because he was unfit or mean but simply because he was hurt on his job and couldn't pay child support.
He had a hard time finding another job after his injury so my mother had all visitation stopped.
I was so young I wasn't sure what was going on, I just believed everything I was told which wasn't the truth. Within these seven years I was illegally adopted. But, after a while I started to discover the truth about everything. Once I knew the truth I started to fight for what was mine.
It took me a few weeks doing everything the right way but I got it done and now I'm back with my daddy.
We now spend every second of every day making up for lost time. I got to spend my sixteenth birthday with him, we had my party at Golden Corral with close friend and family and we had a blast.
We got to spend Christmas and Thanksgiving together we had the best time. We love to take trips together. We went to Florida and Washington DC. OH ya, and we watch silly movies and ride his motorcycle every chance we get and its super fun.
When we spend time together we are always laughing and having a good time. A girl couldn't ask for a better daddy.
